How far do you think we can go to meet the demands of our customers in the manufacture of customized decorative sheets for metallic facades?

We recently received a query about our Menorca profile, as it was the architectural profile chosen for a decorative border on the main facade of a residential building.

Both the owner and the installer were convinced that the Menorca Profile was adequate and would offer an ideal construction solution. However, it was decided that they wanted to overlap or tongue and groove one with the other to give it a greater appearance of continuity and try to hide the cut between one profile and another.

After receiving this query, our technical department got down to work in collaboration with the factory to see the feasibility of this request of customized metallic facade. After several tests, it was concluded that since each of the folds of this profile had a 90º opening, it was simply not possible to "splice" one profile onto another.

So, it was tried to manufacture the profile with a slightly more open fold up to 100º but keeping both the useful width and its technical characteristics. On this occasion, the tests were successful and it was possible to verify how, now, one profile could overlap another to achieve the desired effect.

This is how the creation of this new modified Menorca Profile or Menorca M Profile originated. An ideal architectural profile to create decorative borders on facades as long as necessary, and which has notable technical characteristics and an extraordinary visual appearance and finish.
