The Menorca façade profile belongs to the range of architectural profiles designed and manufactured by TAS. This profile stands out for the uniformity of its geometry, which gives it a refined and elegant appearance.
Description of the Menorca Façade Profile
The Menorca façade profile is a ribbed single-sheet metal panel used as exterior cladding for ventilated façades. It is manufactured with a lacquered finish available in a wide range of metals such as steel, aluminum, or zinc. The Menorca profile is often requested with R18T40 perforations to give the building envelope greater character and uniqueness.
It can be installed either vertically or horizontally using a visible fastening system on a steel support substructure.
There is also the option to produce the Menorca M Profile, which features folding angles slightly greater than 90° to allow longitudinal overlapping between panels and achieve a continuous façade effect.
Manufacturing of the Menorca Façade Profile
The Menorca profile is manufactured on state-of-the-art automatic folding machines, which ensure precision in angles and folds, allowing all panels on the same façade to be identical and fit together perfectly.
Additionally, all necessary trim components for closing the façade can be manufactured from the same coil used for the profiles. This prevents color variations and allows all façade components to be delivered together for efficient installation.
Advantages of the Menorca Façade Profile
- Durability: steel, aluminum, and zinc are highly resistant and durable materials, capable of withstanding extreme weather conditions.
- Attractive aesthetics: elegant and unique look. The Menorca profile stands out for its simple yet refined appearance, adding character to any façade.
- Lightweight: despite their strength, metals such as steel, aluminum, or zinc are lightweight compared to other cladding materials, making installation easier and reducing the building’s structural load.
- Low maintenance: metal cladding requires minimal upkeep, reducing the need for frequent repairs or repainting.
